For three decades, Avery Cotton has pursued education and certifications by masters in the orthopedic bodywork profession. Avery has combined many specialized theories and techniques into an integrated and comprehensive approach to treatments for acute and chronic pains. He persists in his own continued education as well as providing focused knowledge and training for others wishing to further their abilities and perfect healing processes.
Certified modalities include massage and neuromuscular therapies, myofascial release, myofascial unwinding, craniosacral therapy and Chikly lymphatic drainage. After an extensive clinical evaluation, appropriate therapies will be initiated to ease pain, improve range of motion and improve posture. By using the whole-body concept, both causes and symptoms of dysfunction are addressed. Bodywork treatment, when coupled with client responsibility for health maintenance, will bring an increased sense of well-being with greater freedom and movement.
