Neuromuscular Therapy
After the connective fascia is released, the muscle needs attention. Neuromuscular Therapy treats trigger points and their common referral zones with applied pressure to interrupt afferent impulses to the spinal cord. Therefore it reduces the nervous activity within the tissue and mechanically forces out toxic irritants (such as lactic acid) which have accumulated at sensitive nerve receptor sites. Neuromuscular Therapy balances the nervous and musculoskeletal systems.
